We have a working party on the 24th/25th October and need lots of volunteers! We are are on a Non- BW owned section of canal and have permission from the land owner to work on the canal as much or as often as we like.

Someone from BW will be coming down to use a chainsaw to chop ALL the trees down from Creams Paper Mill to the damn and we have a brand new brush cutter that Matt from BW will show a couple of us how to use it safely.

Unfortunately, we don't have backing from WRG on this one so no Mr Mac - which in turn means we have to bring our own food and refreshments.

There will also be a fair bit of clearance to do in the basin of the canal and because its very soggy we suggest everyone brings Steal toe-capped wellies!

Meeting point: Creams-Paper Mill ( we have owner permission to park on the land ) The majority of MB&BCS members have parked up on Boscow Rd in the past for work on the locks and surrounding area - Well instead of turning right into Boscow rd carry straight on over the canal bridge.
